The Participatory of the Carpet Museum will be launched in Southern Khorasan

Delivery of more than 51 carpets to the Cultural Heritage
During the common Memorandum of Understanding between the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism and the Endowments and Religious Administrations of the County, the Participatory Carpet Museum will be launched next year.

From a report from the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of Southern Khorasan, Endowments and Religious Administration of County, with a ceremony delivered over 51 carpets to the Cultural Heritage Administration.
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism of the County in this ceremony said: "To revive the good custom of endowment, as a cultural affair would be in line with the aim of the Cultural Heritage Organization".
Mr. Hassan Ramazani said: "Dedication is a symbol of the religious belief of the people in the county. According to the many dedicated affairs in the county, the Cultural Heritage Administration is responsible for the maintenance of buildings and dedicated monuments and the participation of this Administration and Endowments and Religious Administration is permanent".
The Director General of Endowments and Religious of Southern Khorasan thanked the Cultural Heritage Assosiation for the repair and restoration of the Hossainyehsand dedicated monuments and said: "These 51 carpets are ancient, and have Cultural and Artistic value".
Mr. Hojat-ol islam Mohamad Taher Gerayeli added: "Many of these carpets are from the Qajar and Pahlavi era and some of them were woven especially for the Imam Reza (AS) Hosseiniyeh and most of them are woven from Camel's Wool".
He continued: "These carpets have been given to the Cultural Heritage Assosiation to kept in better conditions andvto undergo repairs".
Its need to say: At the end of this ceremony, during the common Memorandum of Understanding, it was decided to launch the participatory museum of dedicated carpets , to extended the good tradition of dedication between people.
