The mountain of Se-Pestan, Ahangaran, Kazakan, Ardakoul and Gazik are located in this mountain range. The highest peak of the Se-Pestan Mountain is 2,731 m. The slope at the highest point to the percussion of Petergan is about 42 km. These mountains have very good resources for water and created aqueducts with a high water level. Beside these high mountains some villages are on the slopes and foothills were built, like Taj-Kouh, Boghrayei, Hassan Abad, Hussein Abad of Taj-Kouh, Ahangaran, Jim-Abad, Ardakoul and Mohammad Abad. The Khajeh Mountains have an altitude of 1,123 m near the village of Hemmat Abad-e-Khajeh and it extends parallel to the Gozokht Mountain. The Hemmat Abad Aqueduct contains high water levels that are piped by the “Jihad” for the thirsty land. This water irrigates the gardens and fields of the sandy lands, Nomads with livestock, orchards and livestock forage.
