Holding diverse programs on International Children's Day in the Akbariyeh Garden and Building in City of Birjand

On the 8th October, the "Day of the Child, Art and Cultural Heritage" the embracing of children in the Akbariyeh Garden and Building in the City of Birjand takes place.

From a report from the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of Southern Khorasan: ‘On this day the children of Kindergartens and other children with their families participate in various programs to commemorate this day’.
Mrs. Zahra Rezayei Malakouti the Representative for the Children and Teenagers of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration said: “A Workshop and Drawing Competition, Introduction to the Art of Pottery and working with clay, with the participation of teachers in this field of art, Storytelling by the Grand Storyteller, doing Historical Sports with the children and teenagers of the Amir-e Arab Gymnasium, visiting the Museum with a Guided Tour, Reception and Commemorative Donations which include, Balloons with the Cultural Heritage Stamp, Historical Monuments Postcards, Cards with Educational Messages, and a weekly schedule with pictures of Historical Buildings, etc., were the diverse program of this day”.
She added: “In other cities of the County, there were also a variety of programs in this regard, and the aim of this event is to keep up the motto of the International Children's Week, ‘The World With A Child’s Smile Is Beautiful’”.
