The Cutting of the First Production of Barak Cloth in the Town of Moud after 15 years of being forgotten

After 15 years of being forgotten the first work shop of Barak Cloth Weaving at a Ceremony in the Town of Sarbisheh with the presence of Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorsan and the Handicrafts Assistant of this Administration and the Liable of the Town the cloth was cut and the art was revived.

From a report of the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorasan, Mr. Naddaf Moghadam the Supervisor of the Cultural Heritage Agency of Sarbisheh in this Ceremony after welcoming the guests, reported the implementation and process of the revival of this art.
He added: “This Agency with the purpose of revival Handicraft fields which are obsolete and after research in the Town, having programming to revive the Art of Barak Weaving and in collaboration with Al Zahra Women's Cooperative in Moud, The first workshop of Weaving the Barak in June of this year started the work in Town of Moud”.
Mr. Ramazani the Director General of the Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of the County after thanking for the actions taken, added that the value of Iranian and Islamic Culture in the associated fields with admirable Original Iranian Crafts and Architecture said: “The activity in the field of Crafts with emphasis by the Leader and Government Policies of Prudence and the hope on the Economic strength, was the most important way of achievement”.
At the end of this Ceremony, the first Textile Manufacturing of this workshop with a length of 15 meters with a woven fence (Chapar Baff) was completed and was cut by the Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of the County.
