Pottery Skills are one of the ancient handicrafts of humans, because the same raw material and work methods around the world are the same and have many similarities with differences in some work techniques, additives and the appearance of the molded shape. For these reasons, the pottery of Mahdieh have differences which are also rooted in the limited resources and raw materials and local community needs, which have distinctive features of pottery for this region.

The Valley and Old Plane Tree of Tajnoud Village of Zirkhouh Town has been accepted for Registration and Protection of the Natural Heritage Committee in Tehran and was recorded on the Natural National Heritage List on 14/12/2016.

The Kal-e Jenni (Genie Hole) of Tabas was accepted for Registration and Protection of Natural Heritage Committee in Tehran and recorded on the Natural National Heritage List on the 14/12/2016.

The Cultural Landscape of the Nayband Village in the South of Tabas, on the road side of the Tabas to Ravar road and 134 Km near the Town of Deyhouk, has registration as a National Effect.

The Old Sycamore Tree in the Village of Bozbisheh have been registered on the National Natural Heritage List with the Number315 on the 27th April, 2016.

The Old Sycamore Tree Collection in the Village of Baraz in the Town of Ghayen have been registered on the National Natural Heritage List with the Number361 on the 27th April, 2016.

The Lut Desert as the First Natural Effect of Iran has been Recorded on UNESCO World Heritage List
The Director General of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorasan , Mr. Ramezani said: 'The Lut Desert as the first natural effect of Iran and as the third effect in the County has been recorded on World Heritage List of UNESCO.

 The Director General of Cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism of the County of South Khorasan announced: 'The Baladeh Subterranean of Ferdows as the second important effect of County has been recorded on World Heritage List of UNESCO'.
