This time Lut Desert Office and Dehsalam Village was the host to French Tourists.

From a report from the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorasan, Mrs. Zahra Malakouti the Supervisor of the Lut Desert Office of this Administration said: 'French Tourists visited the beautiful Groves of Dehsalam , the Lut Desert Office of the County and they highly regarded the attractions of the Village and the Lut Desert. The French Tourists while visiting the Handicrafts Home in the Village purchased handmade products of the women of the Dehsalam Village'.

In the ranking conducted by the Cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization of Iran, the County of South Khorasan in two parts: General and Specialized Indexes achieved first rank in 1394 among 31 Counties of the Country.

The Liable of Museums of the Cultural Heritage Administration of South Khorasan gave information that 190 Foreign Tourists visited Museums in Birjand during 1394 and he said: "From this count of Tourists, 150 visited the Akbariyeh Historical Garden and 40 visited the Athletics Heritage Museum in the Historical Contexture of Birjand".

The Register Number of 8 Natural Monuments of South Khorasan were declared.

The second session of Archaeological Ecavations in the Kahnek ancient area with the aim of Archaeological excavations for teaching practices of Archaeology students at the Birjand University on 25/12/2015 was held.
