Five Old Cypress Trees of Zirkouh have been Recorded on the National Natural Heritage List of the Country

The Supervisor of the Cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism Agency gave information that the five Old Cypress Trees have been recorded on the National Natural Heritage List of the Country and said: “The Cypress Tree of the Village of Estand, the Cypress Tree of the Village of Mohammad Abad, the Cypress Tree of the Village of Moulid, the Cypress Tree of the Village of Esfad and the Cypress Tree of the Village of Shirg are the five Old Cypress Trees which have recently been recorded on National Natural Heritage List of the Country”.

From a report of the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorasan, Mr Hossein Soroush added: “The Ahangaran Tulip Plain, the Kafar'tag Copse Hills, the Mastic Tree of the Village of Ardakoul and the Shaskouh Mountaintop are the other items that we want to be recorded on the Natural Heritage List of the Country”.
He gave information that we were beginning to record the Caves of the Towns and said: “The Pahlavan Cave of Estand, the Makalou Cave, the Goush Kouh Cave and the Chehel Dokhtar Cave of Daraj e Oliya are under completion for the recognition operation and they are an ongoing case for registration in the near future”.
