The Preparation of the Registration of the Bid Document of Kal-e Jenni (Jenni Hole) in the Town of Tabas to be Recorded on the National Natural Heritage List.

The Bid Document of Kal-e Jenni is prepared for Registration on the National Natural Heritage List.

From a report from the Public Relations Department of Cultural Heritages, Handicrafts and Tourism Administration of South Khorasan, Mrs. Zahra Malakouti the Expert for the Administration for Recording Natural Heritages said: 'The Kal e Jenni is located 27 km Northwest of Tabas and 15 km Southwest of the Azmighan Village. Ka'al means the valley or way caused by floods and water flow. The Ka'al e Jenni or Darreh Jen’ha (The Valley of Devils) is a valley located North of Tabas, near the Azmighan Village and the aqueduct output. It is a beautiful and amazing valley that locals call the Valley of Devils and they know it is a macabre where ghosts and fairies live. There are tunnels and homes and the House of Gabres is set in the middle of the surrounding walls where probably the Zoroastrians settled at one time because of the attraction this valley had. The construction of the tunnels and cavities probably dates back to the Sassani era.
