The Chenesht Cave

The Chenesht Cave is located in the Village of Chenesht which according to historical texts was discovered by Seyed Mohammad Moshasha.

He, after the discovery of the cave moved into it and buried the bodies of Seyed Hamid Alavi and his children there, who are one of the Alavitesshieh, who were killed by head of the Abbassi clan. The Chenesht Cave is about 60 meters in length and the creation of the internal factors is by the earth and earthquakes. Passing through different parts of the cave is almost impossible and then there are places that are more than 10 meters high. The works in the cave include Woodwork, Ceramics, Textiles and broken Human bones. Many works including the pottery belong to the 200 and 300 B.C.
