The Village of Barkouh

The Village of Barkouh is 500 meters near to the Dam. This dam is affected directly and indirectly by the mountain village irrigation system. The altitude of the Barkouh Dam is 10 meters; the walls of the dam are mud built to control the stream of water.

If this dam used the crop patterns by using technical and agricultural advice, it could have a significant impact on increasing the revenues of the farmers and prevent migration.
The Barkouh Dam has a beautiful area which is an Old Muddy Castle located in the center of the village. Around the dam which walls are composed of mud, the beautiful fields of wheat, barley and alfalfa and scattered willow trees can be seen.
