The Chahar Farsakh( 4Farsakh) Mosque

The Chahar Farsakh Mosque has a four square plan of 18.10 meters in length and 10.60 meters in width and 4.10 meters in height and covers an area of 175 square meters where the extension of the building is to the North – South.

This Mosque has entrance spaces, a courtyard garden, half-roofed porch, ablution house and yard. The entrance of the building is on the North side of this space and the extension of the minarets, which are located on each side of the entrance. After passing through the entrance into the courtyard garden, we enter the Mosque, which has a length of 7meters and at a width of 4 meters. On each side of the yard there were two porches, which had a depth of about 30.2 meters.
The House for ablution is located at the first Porch on the West side of the courtyard after crossing the yard you reach the main Nave of the Mosque which has a length of 9.40 meters by 9.20 meters. This Shabestan or Resting Yard has 9 spring vaults. The central vault fountain is the biggest fountain in this Shabestan. Also on the West side of the Nave three windows for the entry of light into the embedded space. The material of this building consists of 30 × 30 cm clay bricks and is lined with straw mortar and plaster covering.
